Fly Rigging Workshop

Wes Jenkins is a theatrical consultant with Down Stage Right Industries Ltd. Wes has literally been behind the scenes in the entertainment industry for over 40 years. Supporting and enabling art and artists is what he does across Canada, into the United States and as far as China. Starting at the Banff Centre as a design student, he has moved on to work in theatres across Canada.
As a theatrical consultant, he has inspected theatrical rigging and is working on rigging design projects from coast to coast. He is a world traveller and an accomplished cook.
Wes will be leading a one-day class that illustrates the fundamentals of stage rigging and the cooperative efforts required to ensure the safe suspension of loads over people.

The workshop will be hosted at the Northern Arts and Cultural Centre from 10:00am to 6:00pm with a one hour break. Lunch not provided.
