SUMMARY:LOV (Performance Only)
DESCRIPTION:NACC and the Yellowknife Community Foundation present a fundraiser for the Northern Legacy Fund -an endowment fund established by the Foundation and lead sponsor Rio Tinto – Diavik Diamond Mine . The Northern Legacy Fund will support a wide range of community needs across all 33 Northwest Territories communities for years to come. The Yellowknife Community Foundation thanks you for your generous support! \n\n\n\nLOV is a force of resilience\, rhythm\, and reinvention. Hailing from Treaty 6 Territory\, this rising artist transforms personal trials into soulful affirmations of strength and independence. With a sound rooted in UK-inspired soul and guided by a deep sense of purpose\, LOV’s music is both healing and unapologetically empowering. \n\n\n\nHer journey took a pivotal turn when she decided to fully embrace her artistry – stepping into her truth and reshaping her narrative. What followed was a rebirth. As LOV\, she channels raw emotion into songs that carry the weight of lived experience while remaining light enough to dance to. Whether she’s celebrating matriarchal strength or voicing quiet moments of reflection\, her music resonates with sincerity and grace. \n\n\n\nLOV’s rich\, smoky vocals found a powerful match in renowned Montréal-based producer Connor Seidel (Charlotte Cardin\, Half Moon Run\, Katie Tupper)\, whose refined production elevated her sound into a crisp\, elegant\, and emotionally layered body of work. Together\, they crafted a collection that showcases LOV’s maturity\, versatility\, and effortless cool. \n\n\n\nHer debut singles – Mama\, Matriarch\, Relate\, Sister Era – have already earned her over one million+ streams across platforms and more than 7 million views on TikTok + Facebook\, signaling a fast-growing fanbase drawn to her authenticity and style. Mama soared to #1 on the Indigenous Music Countdown\, affirming her rising profile in the Indigenous music community. She’s also been featured on major Spotify Editorial playlists\, including Mood Ring\, EQUAL\, and Fresh Finds Canada\, as well as Apple Music’s Indigenous Now – testament to her wide-reaching\, cross-platform appeal. \n\n\n\nWith features on CBC & APTN and recognized as an Artist to Watchby Seeing Red Media (alongside Sebastien Gaskin and Natasha Fisher)\, LOV continues to build momentum both musically and culturally. In 2025\, she was invited to perform at Native Fashion Week and model for celebrated designer Rebecca Baker\, proving that her presence extends beyond music and into broader creative movements. She has been selected to participate in the Artist In Residence Program hosted by Allied Music Centre / Massey Hall in 2026. \n\n\n\nLOV is not just making music – she’s making a statement. And this is only the beginning. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoined by Yellowknife’s Own Grace Clark\n\n\n\nGrowing up in Yellowknife\, on the edge of the arctic circle\, Métis artist Grace Clark draws inspiration from nature and seasons in the north\, creating a dynamic Indie Pop sound. Grace’s sweet melodies and passionate lyrics build a delicate\, enticing world reflecting on love\, loss\, and the world around her.  \n\n\n\nHer latest release\, ‘Chicago’\, talks about feeling out of place in a new city\, after moving from Yellowknife to Montreal to pursue her studies in music. Grace released her first single ‘Untouchable’ in June of 2020\, with Yellowknife producer David Dowe\, followed by a live EP recorded in British Columbia and released in June of 2021. Grace’s voice is what drives her the most\, and you will surely see this growing artist paving her own path in the music industry. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is organized by:
