NACC Season Open Doors in Hay River presents Maritime Marionettes

NACC Season Open Doors in Hay River presents Maritime Marionettes Website Link.

The Maritime Marionettes from Nova Scotia present two favorite folktales for the wonder and enjoyment of all. These timeless tales will inspire and entertain the child in all of us.

The Bremen Town Musicians is the story of an aging donkey who follows his dream of becoming a musician and on the way befriends a dog, a cat and a rooster. As a comical quartet they find new life in their adventures together.

Rumpelstiltskin is the tale of a poor miller's daughter who becomes trapped in her father's lie: that she can spin straw into gold. Forced to perform this impossible task by a greedy king who holds her life in ransom, she forms a pact with a strange little man who agrees to help her in exchange for her firstborn child.

Since 1986, the Maritime Marionettes have toured across Canada and internationally, acquiring a reputation for superb excellence in Marionette artistry.
