NACC Silver Season Inuvik Soaring Strings

Soaring Strings features the highly virtuosic violin-cello duo of Sebastien Lepine and Antoine Bareil. Staged in a unique setting, the pair is renowned for their stunning virtuosity and unique approach to classical music. Both belong to a new and exciting breed of artists who combine tradition and technology, thus contributing to the evolution of their art form. They were recently nominated for an OPUS PRIZE with their Bareil-Lépine: Works for Violin and Cello and were winners at the Grand Prix Culturel de Trois-Rivières.

Sébastien has given many recitals in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Italy. He has appeared at the Colours of Music Festival, the Niagara International Chamber Music Festival, the Mexico National Arts Centre, and in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and performs on a cello Stradivarius, 1699, courtesy of Canimex.

Antoine performs internationally as a past member of the Salzburg Chamber Soloists (Austria) and guest concertmaster of the Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss am Rhein (Germany). He performs on a violin Jean Baptiste Vuillaume (1798-1875), also courtesy of Canimex.
